Design Style: Adopting sporty color schemes—such as high-contrast black and yellow accents—the cabin features a flat-bottomed multifunction steering wheel and integrated sports seats. Premium materials, such as Alcantara-style suede and chrome trim, are frequently utilized to enhance the overall sense of quality and texture.
Technology Features: Higher-trim models are equipped with a 12.3-inch full-digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch (or larger) floating central touchscreen display. This system runs on the built-in "Zebra Zhixing" intelligent connectivity platform, supporting functions such as voice control, online navigation, and OTA (Over-the-Air) software updates.
Safety and Comfort: The vehicle is equipped with Level 2 intelligent driving assistance systems, including features such as active braking, lane-keeping assist, and a 360-degree panoramic camera system. Powertrain: The currently available third-generation MG6 is primarily powered by SAIC's "Blue Core" 1.5T turbocharged engine. This unit delivers a maximum output of 133 kW (181 hp) and a peak torque of 285 N·m, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.
Handling Performance: The chassis features an independent suspension setup—utilizing MacPherson struts at the front and a multi-link system at the rear—with a tuning calibration biased toward sporty dynamics. The entire model lineup comes standard with the XDS Cornering Dynamic Control System, which effectively mitigates understeer while enhancing cornering limits and driving enjoyment.
