BYD Shark

The BYD SHARK is BYD's first new energy pickup truck, built on the DMO Super Hybrid Off-Road Platform. It has already been launched in several overseas countries and will soon be available in the Chinese market. Its core feature is that it combines the functionality of a rugged pickup truck with the economy and high performance of a new energy vehicle.
Platform and Powertrain: Built on the DMO Super Hybrid Off-Road Platform, it features a 1.5T longitudinally mounted high-power hybrid engine and dual front and rear motors. The system's combined power exceeds 320 kW (approximately 430 hp), peak torque exceeds 840 Nm, and the 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 5.7 seconds.
Range and Energy Consumption: The NEDC pure electric range is 100 km, and the combined range with a full tank of gas and a fully charged battery reaches 840 km. The official fuel consumption when the battery is depleted is 7.5 liters per 100 km.
Size and Off-Road Capability: The vehicle's dimensions are 5457 mm in length, 1971 mm in width, and 1925 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3260 mm. It has an approach angle of 31 degrees and a departure angle of 19.3 degrees, providing good off-road capability.
Features and Configuration: As a pickup truck, it has a cargo box volume of 1450 liters, a payload capacity of 835 kg, and a 2.5-ton towing capacity. The vehicle supports V2L external power delivery (3.3 kW for the overseas version, with an expected enhancement for the domestic version), and is equipped with off-road technologies such as intelligent electric four-wheel drive and virtual differential locks.
